1. Warranty Coverage

Luke’s Landscaping provides a two-year limited warranty on landscaping services and materials installed at the above-listed project address. This warranty covers defects in workmanship and plant material failure, subject to the terms and conditions outlined below.

2. Coverage Details

2.1 Hardscape Installations

  • Pavers, patios, retaining walls, walkways, and other hardscape structures are warranted against defects in workmanship and material failure for two (2) years from the date of project completion.
  • This warranty covers shifting, sinking, or separation due to improper installation.

2.2 Softscape Installations (Plants, Sod, and Trees)

  • Trees, shrubs, and perennials installed by [Company Name] are warranted for a period of two (2) years.
  • Sod and grass seed are warranted for a period of one (1) year from installation, provided proper maintenance is followed.
  • Replacements will be provided once per plant if failure occurs due to installation or plant material defects.

2.3 Irrigation Systems

  • Irrigation systems installed by [Company Name] are covered for two (2) years against leaks, controller malfunctions, and installation defects.
  • This warranty does not cover damages resulting from power surges, freezing temperatures, or external interference.

3. Exclusions & Limitations

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage due to natural disasters, severe weather, floods, drought, or extreme temperatures.
  • Damage caused by improper maintenance, neglect, misuse, vandalism, or third-party contractors.
  • Normal wear and tear, seasonal plant loss, or pest/disease-related damage.
  • Sod or plant material that fails due to insufficient watering, overwatering, or lack of proper care by the client.
  • Hardscape settling or movement caused by soil erosion or external conditions beyond [Company Name]’s control.
  • Modifications or repairs performed by anyone other than [Company Name].

4. Client Responsibilities

  • The client must follow recommended maintenance practices, including watering schedules, fertilization, pruning, and seasonal care.
  • Warranty claims must be submitted in writing to [Company Name] within 30 days of discovering the issue.

5. Warranty Claims & Remedies

  • Luke’s Landscaping will inspect the issue and determine if it qualifies under this warranty.
  • Approved claims will be addressed within a reasonable timeframe, with repair, replacement, or corrective action at Luke’s Landscaping’s discretion.
  • No monetary refunds will be provided.

6. Transferability

  • This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original client listed on this agreement.

7. Legal Disclaimer

This warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty provided by Luke’s Landscaping. No other warranties, express or implied, apply. In no event shall Luke’s Landscaping be liable for incidental or consequential damages.
